- Foreground Service: To keep your focus timer running accurately in the background, even when the app is minimized.
- Media Playback Service: To play ambient focus sounds and white noise during your sessions without interruption.
- Query Installed Apps (QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES): To display the list of installed apps so you can select which apps to allow or block during focus sessions.
- Internet Access: To sync your data with Firebase, enable cloud backup, authenticate your account, and deliver push notifications.
- Network State: To check your internet connectivity and handle offline mode gracefully.
- Vibration: To provide haptic feedback for notifications and timer alerts.
- Audio Settings: To manage audio focus when playing ambient sounds alongside other apps.
- Boot Completed: To reschedule your routine notifications after device restarts.
- Advertising ID: Collected by Firebase Analytics for aggregated usage insights. No personalized ads are served.
We do not collect, access, or store any personal files, contacts, location data, or call logs. All permissions are used strictly to provide the functionality described above.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Core Functionality: To manage focus sessions, track progress, and provide app-blocking features.
- Cloud Backup: If signed in, your data is synced to Firebase for cross-device access and recovery.
- Personalization: To tailor the experience based on your name and preferences.
- Analytics & Improvements: To understand how users interact with the app and fix bugs (via Firebase Crashlytics).

- Local Storage: Data is primarily stored on your device.
